Louisa Krause was born in New York City. Her most well-known role is being the main character in Anna Garner in the television show The Girl Experience . She performed her first film role in the Babysitters when she was Brenda Woodberg. Krause was a drama student in college prior to appearing in numerous off Broadway productions while also playing in episodes of New York-based network television shows. Professionally, her father and mother are both from America. Nathaniel his younger brother is also a director. In Washington D.C., at the Washington School of Ballet she developed an interest in dance. After high school she became more involved in other arts. In high school she was accepted into an acting program at Carnegie Mellon Drama School. Krause's professional career began shortly after she felt confident. The Equity card was earned from her performance in Aida, a musical production. Louisa Krause got her start with the stage. She was in the Huntington Theater Company's production of Iphigenia 2 in 2006. She was Iphigenia for the Signature Theatre Company's Iphigenia 2 in 2007.
